About Michelle (Wood) Lynds

Michelle Lynds holds a Bachelor's in English from Framingham State University where she graduated with high honors in English as well as being inducted into the National English Honor Society. During her journey there, she also studied Secondary Education in English and passed the MTELs in 2002. Her passion for teaching led her to curriculum and training development for various companies and topics.

As a twice exceptional mom raising twice exceptional teenagers, Michelle's focus has shifted back to the beginnings of her educational journey - a desire to help adolescents unlock their inner potential. Pulling from her personal experiences while also holding extensive trainings and certifications in ADHD, Executive Functioning, and Neuroscience, Michelle flourishes in reflective, responsive tutoring and coaching students to not be intimidated by their learning differences, but to use them as a super power to success - complete with embracing the quirks that make us unique. She brings her own experiences of knowing how difficult those hurdles can be to overcome into her tutoring journey, allowing her students to be their authentic selves and strengthening their academic and executive functioning weaknesses.

She is adept at understanding school testing and helping parents understand their child's unique cognitive profile and how that translates into necessary classroom and home supports and has experience at helping families navigate the Special Education world in Massachusetts.

Her Masters of Arts in Education program of study, which she is expected to complete in August of 2026, focuses on neurolinguistics and trauma informed instruction as she heavily works with students experiencing mental health challenges and who are neurodivergent.

Michelle Lynds is also a published writer, journalist, and author. She has experience in designing textbooks and curriculum for children with specialized learning disabilities in the English Language Arts.
